Douglas Michael
Senior Project Manager

With more than 20 years of experience, Doug is a Senior Project Manager who oversees HLZA's electrical system projects. His experience includes the design and project review of electrical and fire alarm systems. He performs feasibility studies and surveys, and compiles data for electrical system implementation.

Doug is currently involved with the renovation of the electrical systems at 2 Pierrepont Place, formally the New York Mayor's Mansion, and 124 Columbia Heights, a 101-unit residential conversion within the Brooklyn Historic District. He’s also involved in the investigation at 1185 Park Avenue to assess outstanding electrical issues. Doug’s low voltage design experience includes security, telecommunications, access control, closed circuit television, and intrusion detection systems. Doug is also proficient in CADD customization and fluent in multiple computer programming languages.

Doug attended Star Technical Institute for Computer Aided Design and Drafting and Ocean County College/Kean University in New Jersey where he majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
