Michael Cassidy
Senior Project Manager

With more than 20 years of experience, Michael serves as a Senior Project Manager at HLZA. He is responsible for providing thorough review and analysis of a variety of project documentation, including contracts and offering plans, and has an ability to draft language that presents pertinent project information in a clear and concise manner. He also functions as HLZA’s in-house counsel, providing legal insight.

Michael specializes in forensic investigations on behalf of condominium associations, cooperative boards, and developers to identify construction defects or deficiencies with respect to certain building conditions. He determines the existence, locations, and underlying causes of failures in building components and systems by performing thorough reviews of building documentation, visual observations of accessible building components, and photographic documentation. Michael leverages his professional judgment and construction experience to assess and provide a written opinion as to the cause of observed deficiencies.

Michael graduated from Marist College with a degree in Mathematics and from New York Law School with a Juris Doctor Degree.
