Nicholas Dalton

Biography

With more than 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, Nicholas serves as a Director in the MEP/FP division at HLZAE. He leads a team in the investigation, design, and installation of major system upgrades in residential and commercial buildings. Nicholas is experienced in team management, project and construction management and has technical expertise in MEP equipment and systems.

Nicholas’ experience includes project management for new construction of luxury supermarkets and supermarket distribution facilities. He has also provided building commissioning of all MEP systems serving the base building systems for high-rise commercial office projects at 425 Park Avenue and 390 Madison Avenue, which included the installation of central heating hot water, chilled water, and condenser water plants. Other recent projects include new construction projects of fully electric buildings at 1 Java Street and 555 Greenwich, both projects included geothermal well system for ground sourced heat pump systems to reduce energy consumption and eliminating the use of fossil fuels.

Nicholas earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also 1 of only 450 Certified Commissioning Professionals (CCP) in the United States.
