Get to know our team members:

Claire Taylor joins the firm as Project Associate in Joe Nevins’s team. Claire earned her bachelor’s degree in Architecture at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand and has gained experience working as Project Architect at Urban Edition, Inc and most recently at TPG Architecture. Outside of work, Claire enjoys traveling and has a goal to visit and experience the works of some of her favorite architects such as Carlo Scarpa in Venice, Peter Zumthor in Switzerland or Renzo Piano at locations around the world. She is also a “plant lady” and says her place has turned into a tropical jungle since she has been inside more during the pandemic. She also loves to cook – her parents used to own a restaurant back in Bangkok, Thailand and she grew up helping her mother cook. Her specialty is Thai food or anything SPICY!

Nathalie Jolivert joins the firm as Project Associate in Joe Nevins’s team. Nathalie studied at Rhode Island School of Design where she earned a Bachelor of Architecture & Bachelor of Fine Art. She comes to us from Island Exterior Fabricators where she gained experience in curtain wall fabrication (to the delight of her new team!). Prior to that she was with TOLA Architecture. Nathalie loves drawing and painting and finds it meditative. She also enjoys long walks and running in Central Park. 

Brian McCabe joins the firm as Project Associate in Joe Nevins’s team. Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Iona College. He comes to us from a role as Management Associate at Douglas Elliman, where he was responsible for overseeing all apartment alterations and capital projects for a portfolio of 11 buildings. Some of his hobbies include snowboarding, golf, and supporting the Mets, Jets, and Knicks. He also hosts an annual charity event with his family: the “Brian McCabe Drive for A Cure” Golf outing, to benefit the Making Headway Foundation, which supports children with brain and spinal cord tumors. 

Radhika Dash joins the firm as Project Manager in Joe Nevins’s studio. Radhika has over 12 years of experience in historic preservation and building restoration in the US, UK, and India. She earned a B.Arch. from the University of Mumbai and an M.A. in Conservation Studies from The University of York. Radhika most recently worked at Superstructures after years working in the UK and India. Some fun facts about Radhika loves learning new languages and their sounds. She used to be able to say greetings in about 8 different languages. She is also trained in Indian classical dance Kathak, loves vegetarian Korean food. Russell Butkiewicz joins the firm as Project Manager in Joe Nevins’s studio. Russell earned a B.S. at University of Hartford, and a Master of Architecture at University at Buffalo. Russell has worked in the NYC restoration scene for the past nine years including his previous role at CANY and before that, Superstructures. Russell likes to restore cars and build kit cars. He is currently mastering woodworking, and is restoring and modifying his 100-year-old home with his family.

Mehroz Syed joins the firm as electrical Project Manager in Jon Colatrella’s team. Mehroz (pronounced Meh-Rose) studied at NYIT where he earned a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Energy Management. He comes to us most recently from Loring Consulting Engineers, where he worked on new buildings, existing buildings, and fit outs in the commercial, residential, and healthcare sectors. His hobbies are traveling and hiking and he also enjoys playing field games like soccer and cricket. 

Jose Armas joins the firm in the MEP Department as Project Manager on Vincent DiBenedetto’s team. Jose earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and comes to us with previous work experience at KEA Engineers, AKF Group, MG Engineering, and Robert Derector. Some of Jose’s fun facts and hobbies include that he owned a ranch in Guatemala with horses, cows, and chickens, he loves horseback riding, and he is a huge soccer fan – Real Madrid is his favorite team. 

Frank Kremsner joins the firm as Project Associate in Monika Sasvary’s team. Frank has a BA in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a certificate in project management at NJIT. His previous work experience includes five years managing capital projects, building repair, and modifications to a large manufacturing facility, as well as experience working for a general contractor. He is eager to transition into the world of facade restoration. In his free time Frank enjoys fly fishing, cooking, and 3D printing. 

Alexander Kribas joins the firm as Project Associate in Monika Sasvary’s studio. Alex earned a Civil Engineering B.Sc. at Tech. Institute of Western Greece, and a Structural Engineering M.Sc. at London South Bank University. He comes to us from Stone Engineering & Architecture where he spent three years working on structural, FISP, and facade restoration projects. In his free time, he loves traveling and exploring both new cities and small towns. One of his favorite spots lately has been the Catskills. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, including cycling and running around NYC.

Robert Brice joins the firm as Project Manager in Michael Cassidy’s studio. Robert come to us with over 16 years of Architectural and Engineering experience with a focus on building, facilities, site construction/project management and conditions assessments. He holds a BA from Morgan State University and formerly held roles at AECOM, MTA, and HAKS Engineers. Some of his interests include taking nature photos (especially birds), enjoying art, and walking and hiking. Some fun facts include that he still writes handwritten letters to friends and family, and he loves the Caribbean and has a goal to visit every island.

Anna Lui joins the firm as Proposal Coordinator on Allie Brush’s team. Anna graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Master’s in Applied Social Research. She previously worked at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation as Marketing & Proposal Support Staff and at Holistic Medical as Accounts Payable & Administrative Assistant. Anna’s hobbies include cooking, painting, sketching, and digital art, and watching dramatic shows and crime documentaries. She is looking forward to being able to travel again and has New Zealand and Germany in mind. 

Kristen Massenburg joins the firm as Zoning & Code Coordinator, reporting to Arie Isaacs. Kristen has extensive expediting experience from previous roles at KM Associates, Milrose Consultants, and CODE LLC. Some of Kristen’s fun facts and hobbies include that she’s a huge foodie, in middle school she had to memorize the preamble of the constitution and she can still recite it to this day. She also had a phobia of bears that started after watching the movie, “The Edge,” as a child. While not a big problem here in the city, she had a run-in with a bear in the Poconos that still gives her nightmares!
