Window and Door Replacement
Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, P.C. was retained by Amalgamated Warbasse Houses to oversee a comprehensive window and balcony door replacement program. The residential cooperative community, located in Brooklyn, is comprised of five triple core residential buildings housing 2,585 apartments. The housing complex was developed under the New York State Mitchell-Lama legislative initiative of the early 1960's and the original aluminum framed single glaze windows had aged and eventually deteriorated. The old windows and doors were replaced with new metal-framed thermally insulated windows and doors.
