Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, P.C. was retained by 230 Park Avenue Association to oversee a major window replacement project for this regal historic landmark property. The project required extensive meetings and open dialogue with the Landmark Preservation Commission to obtain approvals for replacement of the existing steel windows with new aluminum windows in dark grey-green finish to compliment the existing character of this prestigious building. The scope of work included complete window replacement.

Project challenges for this assignment involved upgrading windows to match original design in this highly ornamented structure. Also due to the prominent location of the property, safety and scheduling issues were critical to the project's success.
