Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, P.C. was retained by the Rockrose Development Corporation to provide architectural consulting services for a major capital improvement program for the Fairfax. The program involved complete window replacement for this upscale, 300-unit rental residence located in Manhattan's Upper East Side neighborhood between 69th and 70th Streets, including the replacement of 1,200 window openings.
The project challenge was ensuring that building residents experience minimal disruption to everyday life. Additionally, tenant safety and security were primary concerns.
