Recreational Roof Terrace Renovation
Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, P.C. completed a Recreational Roof restoration for The Fairfax, a luxury 300-unit residential building. The property spans an entire block-front of this upscale East Side neighborhood between 69th and 70th Streets. The exterior street façade consists of a cut stone base extending to the fifth floor. Brick veneer with stone detailing rises to the 15th floor where a horizontal band of windows separates the brick façade from a projecting stone cornice.
