Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, P.C. provided Interior Design services for a comprehensive lobby restoration for The Fairfax, a luxury 300-unit residential building located on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Scope of Work:

	Restoration and redesign of the building's entranceway
	New decorative stonework
	Installation of distinctive sidewalks with landscape planting
	Additional lighting for the building façade and lobby
	Construction of a stainless steel storefront and glass marquee
	Expanding the package-room and mezzanine above
	Expansion of building package room on ground floor and mezzanine levels
	Design and installation of new stone flooring and wall treatment
	New wall paneling and cabinet work

Project challenges for this assignment included modernizing the lobby aesthetic to compete with newer building while respecting the architectural elements of the original design.
