Façade & Balcony Restoration

Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, P.C. was retained by Cadman Towers in Downtown Brooklyn for a complete façade and balcony restoration.

Scope of Work:

	Concrete repair and coating of all balconies, eyebrows, shear walls and piers
	Waterproofing and re-flashing of all concrete block wall panels
	Research and matching the shape, color and texture of the fluted concrete block and mortar

Project challenges for this assignment included maintaining original 1960's "brutalistic" design aesthetic and to provide proper flashing and waterproofing detailing.
