Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, P.C. is widely recognized as a premier professional resource for Local Law 11 compliance. Having 30 years of experience, a high concentration of our work involves investigation and remediation of all building types both exterior and structural systems from pre-war to modern construction.

Since the enactment of Local Law 10/80 (subsequently revised to Local Law 11/98), Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, P.C. has been involved with the preparation and filing of critical examination reports for our clients. At HLZA we provide our clients with a thorough analysis and evaluation of their exterior building facades upon which they can base their construction and rehabilitation decisions and comply with Local Law 11 requirements. Our goal is to provide the highest quality professional architectural and engineering services and to offer our unwavering commitment to preserving a structure’s design integrity.

Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, P.C. has been performing Local Law inspections since the inception of this requirement. During the last cycle, Cycle 6, HLZA prepared and submitted several hundred Reports on behalf of Building Owners. HLZA has an amiable working relationship with the Local Law 11 Compliance Division of the DOB and we work directly with the division toward approval of all the Reports filed by HLZA.
