Robert M. Vella
Senior Project Manager

With more than 25 years of experience in the Tri-State and Southwest Florida regions, Robert serves as a Senior Project Manager at HLZA. He coordinates building restoration projects from the proposal stage to completion, and is responsible for client relations, coordination of municipal requirements, and developing project reports, budgets, and schedules.

Robert’s experience includes repairs to the CO-OP City Parking Garages in the Bronx, which were determined to be structurally unsafe by the New York City Department of Buildings after a concrete slab failure. Another project was 300 Grove Street, a five-story garage in Jersey City that sustained damage from Hurricane Sandy. Robert also led the foundation replacement at Port Imperial, a multifamily development in West New York, for which the structures were temporarily raised and supported using hydraulic pressure.

Robert attended Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey where he majored in Engineering Science. He is a member of the International Code Counsel, the Community Associations Institute, and the International Concrete Repair Institute. Robert also holds Industrial Code Specialist, Residential Code Specialist, Construction Code Official certifications.
