Anthony Malara, RA, LEED AP®

Senior Project Manager, Architecture

Biography

Anthony serves as a Senior Project Manager at HLZAE. He has been the project architect for residential buildings in the New York metro area and has a background in restoration, new construction, mixed-use development, and sustainable design. He also provides building analysis and support services to the alternative energy development community. Anthony’s responsibilities at HLZAE include forensic architecture and investigation, restoration and waterproofing projects, photovoltaic design development, and construction administration for new building projects.

Some of Anthony’s projects include 118 West 79th Street and 322 Central Park West, both of which involved façade restoration and structural remediation in landmarked districts. He also directed the forensic investigation, waterproofing, façade restoration, and roof replacement for Maywood Borough Hall, and the restoration of a landscaped plaza at 425 Fifth Avenue.

Anthony earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania and a Master of Architecture degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. He is a Registered Architect in the states of New York and New Jersey.
