Igor Litwinowicz

Senior Project Manager, Architecture

Biography

With more than 25 years of experience, Igor serves as Senior Project Manager at HLZAE. He is responsible for many of HLZAE’s large corporate clients and specializes in masonry and concrete reconstruction.

Igor managed the historic 1501 Broadway, also known as the Paramount Building, during a multimillion-dollar restoration project. Located in the heart of Times Square, the building was subject to stringent requirements of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission as well as challenging conditions due to its prominent location in a high-traffic area of the city. Igor also successfully oversaw high-rise and prewar restoration projects on the Upper East and West Sides of Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn and is currently working on a restoration of the historic landmark Flatiron Building. Prior to joining HLZAE, Igor worked in Vancouver and gained hands-on experience in new construction and exterior restoration while working on projects in Canada and England.

Igor earned a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Burnaby, Canada and an associate’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Zielona Gora, Poland. Igor is also a passionate photographer, a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and is involved with Second Chance Rescue, Rescue Dogs Rock, Angels Among Us, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and The Humane Society, non-profit organizations that improve the quality of life for dogs.
