Joseph R. Green, PE, PMP

With more than 20 years of experience in ground-up construction, large-scale renovation projects, and capital improvements, Joseph serves as Director in the MEP/FP group at HLZA. His approach is shaped by his experience managing complex projects for the Department of State and the intelligence community. Joseph is experienced in project management and improving design processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.

At HLZA, Joseph managed the mechanical equipment upgrade project for 100 United Nations Plaza, in which he replaced a cooling tower embedded in a pyramid-shaped structure at the top of the building. Joe’s team disassembled the existing cooling tower piece by piece, removed it by using the service elevator to transport the pieces, and installed a new one in the same way. Joseph also oversaw flood damage repair at One West End Avenue and supervised a cogeneration installation at 3400 Fort Independence Street in The Bronx.

Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland.
